BAI-LEYAI FILM COMPANY
THE ARCHIVE / CASE NOTES & PROOF

What can production work tell you about an AI film company?

Read production examples with clear credits, specific contributions and limits on what the evidence proves.

A production example is useful when it explains what the team actually contributed and what a buyer can learn from it. A finished image alone does not show whether a company directed the film, supplied a shot, supervised a process or advised another department.

These case notes distinguish finished-film work, virtual production experience and historical announcements. They do not turn an individual’s earlier role into a company-wide delivery claim.

Something Pointless

Something Pointless is a live-action short directed by Asa Bailey, starring Owen Teale and Sophie Thompson. Its use of AI VFX belongs in the context of the finished film and the photographed performances.

For a producer, the relevant question is how a visual intervention serves a scene. The case note introduces that distinction without inventing a shot count, a confidential workflow or a current awards total.

Silo Season II

Asa Bailey’s production record lists a virtual production supervisor role on Silo Season II. The recovered article discusses the production decisions involved in bringing visual effects considerations onto a set.

It does not claim that the programme was generated with AI. Virtual production experience and AI-native production are related parts of a filmmaking practice, with different contributions and evidence.

Historical workshop and Academy records

The archive also preserves records of a virtual production workshop announcement and the BAI-LEY AI Academy announcement. Historical programme descriptions are not current intake or employment offers.

Keeping those distinctions visible makes the archive more useful. A reader can understand what happened, what the record supports and which questions need a current conversation.

What to look for in any case study

Ask who commissioned the work, what the supplier was responsible for, which material can be shown and what changed through review. Where confidentiality prevents public detail, a company should describe that limit rather than filling the gap with a larger claim.

New case notes will be added when their facts and materials can be published. Until then, the absence of a client name or technical breakdown should not be read as permission to invent one.
